Fire Safety Annual Reports

  • The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), enacted on August 14, 2008 requires institutions that maintain on-campus student housing to publish an annual fire safety report that outlines fire safety practices and standards of the institution.

Campus Safety Report (Annual Security Report)

  • The University Police Department is very concerned about providing timely warnings to the entire University community about potential threats to students or employees. This is accomplished through press releases, email messages, posters, and with messages on the UVa Police Department's web site.
